Seaspan Shipyards requires a highly motivated, results oriented individual to fill the position of a Senior Internal Auditor. Seaspan is in year two of a multi-year program to build internal audit capacity. Initially, it relied upon an external consulting firm to act as its outsourced internal audit provider, and now would like to move to a co-source model. As part of this journey, Internal Audit currently reports to management, with plans to move to an independent function reporting to the Audit Committee once the function achieves maturity.

The Senior Internal Auditor will report to the General Counsel and will participate in risk-based audit planning as well as the full internal audit execution lifecycle.
