As a part of the AWF’s pursuit to support women in business and finance, we are proud to host another Fireside Chat event. Each chat showcases successful female entrepreneurs and professionals who have made ground-breaking achievements in business and their community. Attendees are invited to have an intimate experience with speakers and other industry professionals, which are sure to uplift, motivate and inspire. Formerly available only to AWF members, the Fireside Chat events are now open to the community at-large. 

This autumn’s event is being held the evening of Tuesday November 19^th, at the Vancouver Club. Launi Skinner, Chief Executive Officer of First West Credit Union, will be the featured guest. Throughout her impressive career, Launi has held multiple prestigious positions including the former COO of 1-800-GOTJUNK, and former President of Starbucks, US. Launi has been repeatedly recognized for her outstanding leadership and business acumen being named one of “Four Women to Watch” in Fortune Magazine's 50 Most Powerful Women feature. We are delighted that Launi will be joining us as our honored speaker for the autumn 2013 event.
