AWF’s Spring Fire Side Chat event was a great success taking place on June 11 at the RBC regional office on the 23^rd floor. The sun was shining and the view was serene, creating the perfect mood for an intimate discussion with our Keynote speaker, Jenny Witterick. Jenny has an accomplished and diverse career. After 25+ years in investment management and founding Sky Investments Counsel in 2004, Jenny pursued her passion and became the author of an award winning fiction novel.

Jenny shared many life lessons with the audience. She shared her early challenges being a young immigrant at the age of 8, to being a female corporate powerhouse in the male dominated investments industry. Albeit all the success she has achieved, Jenny never compromised her values and was always true to herself. The most important life lesson she shared is to never lose sight of what really matters and don’t compromise your values to fit the mold. She also spoke about the importance of the power of attraction and how it has been instrumental in her success.

Jenny is truly an inspiration to all men and women, and it was a joy having her speak at the Spring Fire Side Chat event.  Jenny left each Fire Side Chat attendee a copy of her award winning novel, My Mother’s Secret. Watch for her next novel currently underway, a romance set in San Francisco.
