AWF was pleased to once again present another sold out Fireside Chat on September 18, 2014 held at the RBC regional office in downtown Vancouver. Guests were provided with elegant appetizers and wine as they enjoyed a beautiful view of the North Shore. The AWF were delighted to have three very successful professional women join our panel to share their experiences and insights of their success.

Julia Yan, President of AWF and moderator for the evening, started off the night asking each speaker about their secrets to success.  The focus of the panel shifted to personal experiences within their respective competitive industries and how they managed balanced lifestyles with their hectic schedules. 

Each speaker had different paths to achieving success and arriving at where they are today, but similarly they all stressed the importance of having a good mentor. They spoke candidly about their most rewarding experiences both professionally and personally, inspiring and encouraging while bringing laughter to the audience. 

The night ended with mixing and mingling amongst the guests and the speakers.  Thank you for the tremendous support from our guests and from our sponsor, McMillan LLP.  It was another successful Fireside Chat event!
