After spending over two decades at Odlum Brown Limited, ultimately as Senior Vice President, Nancy is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia. An accomplished finance professional, Nancy has a proven track record of strategic decision making and leadership: her ability to gather together people and resources have had measurable success with each organization with which she has worked.
While at Odlum Brown, Nancy advocated for culture change and became a role model for other women entering the field. A major financial contributor to the firm, Nancy also served as a member of the executive committee, director of marketing and as the community liaison.
Contributing far beyond her own organization, Nancy served as a board member and chair of the Investment Dealers Association of B.C. and on the Board of Governors of the Vancouver Stock Exchange and Simon Fraser University.
Nancy is a founding member of the Minerva Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping women achieve their educational and professional goals. She is currently a spokesperson for ovarian cancer awareness and works extensively promoting the benefits of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Nancy’s many accolades include the Order of Canada, the Queen’s Jubilee Medal and an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Simon Fraser University.
