As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Best Buy Canada Ltd., Annalisa oversees the company’s strategic planning, budget, reporting, accounting, auditing, decision support and financial analysis business areas. Annalisa also carries the responsibility for overseeing Information Technology, Legal, Real Estate, and Supply Chain Logistics functions within the company. An integral part of the development of Best Buy Canada Ltd.’s growth plans, she provides analysis of and sound guidance around the achievement of the company’s priority fiscal targets.
Always on the go, Annalisa King is one of Canada’s most respected senior business executives. She is a three-time recipient of The Women’s Executive Network’s Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 award (first named in 2005, then 2007 and again in 2009). Her dedication to leadership has earned her a reputation as a dynamic business thought-leader in the areas of corporate finance and business transformation.
Prior to joining Best Buy Canada Ltd., Annalisa was the Senior Vice President of Business Transformation for Maple Leaf Foods in Toronto. She has also held senior positions, primarily in finance throughout her career at consumer packaged goods companies, Kraft and Pillsbury Canada.
Within the office, Annalisa enjoys mentoring junior associates looking to develop themselves and their careers. Outside the office, she can be found outdoors, be it scuba diving, playing tennis or travelling with her husband.
