Tracy joined Coast Capital Savings as President & CEO in June 2009. She brings 20-plus-years experience in the international financial services industry to her leadership role at Canada’s second largest credit union. Tracy joined Coast Capital to lead the entrepreneurial-styled credit union in its quest to bring innovation to banking in Canada.
She holds a BA with a Double Major in Economics and Asian Studies from the University of Victoria and an MSc in Business Administration in International Trade and Finance from the University of British Columbia, and has twice been named a Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada. She has also received a Distinguished Alumni Award in 2010 from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Victoria. Tracy is a Director of The Vancouver Board of Trade, the C. D. Howe Institute, and CH.I.L.D, a Canadian foundation dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn’s colitis and other gastric illnesses in children. Tracy is also a member of the Patron’s Council for the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation and a Finance Committee member for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Tracy has four children and lives with her husband and family in South Surrey.
